Warranty Information

At Hikari Mats, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. We are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction through our limited warranty program, designed to cover manufacturing defects under normal use and proper care.

Warranty Coverage

We offer two levels of warranty depending on the product type:

1-Year Limited Warranty:

Applicable to:

* Jigsaw Mats
* Home Roll-Out Mats
* Hybrid Roll-Out Mats
* Folding Mats
* Crash Mats
* Rubber Gym Flooring

5-Year Limited Warranty:

Applicable to:

* Dollamur Roll-Out Mats
* Tatami Mats
* Smooth Mats
* Wall Mats
* Crash Mats (used in dojo/gym settings)

What’s Covered

Our limited warranty covers manufacturer defects, including:

* Tears or splits in vinyl under normal usage
* Foam degradation or structural faults
* Rubber sealing issues or failures

What’s Not Covered

Warranty does not cover:

* Damage due to misuse, improper handling, or neglect
* Defects caused by extreme or abusive use
* Cosmetic imperfections that do not impact mat performance, including:

* Minor foam imperfections on Home Roll-Out & Roll-Out Mats
* Vinyl marks or imperfections smaller than 2 inches on Tatami, Smooth Surface, or Roll-Out Mats

Note: Vinyl repair patches are available at an additional cost for cosmetic issues.

Warranty Coverage Breakdown

The value of your warranty claim is pro-rated based on the time of use:

| Year of Use | Coverage Percentage |
| ———– | ——————- |
| Year 1 | 75% coverage |
| Year 2 | 55% coverage |
| Year 3 | 35% coverage |
| Year 4 | 15% coverage |
| Year 5 | 5% coverage |

Coverage is calculated based on the number of years since the date of original purchase.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To begin a warranty claim, please email our support team at:

Please include the following:

* Your Invoice Number
Clear photos of the issue
* A brief description of the defect or concern

We will review your submission and respond promptly with next steps.

Replacement or Resolution

If your claim is approved under our warranty policy, we will offer one of the following resolutions:

* Replacement of affected mat(s)
* Partial store credit (based on coverage percentage)
* Vinyl repair patch (for surface-level cosmetic defects, additional cost may apply)
